LAS VEGAS — Consistency paid off, again, for FedEx Freight’s Gragg Wilson, who earned his fifth state grand champion title on April 28 en route to his 13th trip to the National Truck Driving Championships.

Winning South Carolina’s truck driving championships for the fifth time last weekend feels, well, very satisfying, Ronnie Luckadoo of UPS Freight told Transport Topics.

Competing in the tanker class, XPO Logistics Inc. trucking legend Ina Daly earned grand champion honors at Arizona’s truck driving championships and again secured a spot to the national tournament in August.

Eric Courville, a FedEx Freight driver for more than two decades, took home the grand champion honors at the Louisiana State Truck Driving Championships March 23-24.
