WASHINGTON — Hackers are demanding $6 million in bitcoin from the operator of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for documents they stole during a cyberattack last month.

SEATTLE — An apparent cyberattack disrupted internet, phones and other systems at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for a third day as Port of Seattle officials worked to restore service.

The Pacific Maritime Associations claims that significant labor unrest by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union has shut down the Port of Seattle.

Mediterranean Shipping Co. filed a motion in late October with the National Labor Relations Board urging SSA Marine Inc. to assign tasks at the Port of Seattle’s Terminal 5 to the International Longshore and Warehouse Union.
