Diesel Price Bumps Up 1.2¢ to $3.677 a Gallon

The national average diesel price crept up 1.2 cents to $3.677, according to data Feb. 18.
Though the increase was modest, it still was more than the sixth-tenths-of-a cent price gain of the previous two weeks combined.
A gallon of trucking’s main fuel now costs 43.2 cents less than at this time in 2024.
The price for a gallon of diesel has increased 10 cents since Jan. 6 and is 44.4 cents less than at this time in 2024.

Regional Trends
Diesel’s average price increased in three of the five PADD districts and went down in two. The largest gain was 3 cents in the East Coast, spurred by a 5.1-cent upswing in the New England subregion. The biggest decline was 1.8 cents in the Rocky Mountain region, although the West Coast less California showed a 2-cent drop.
