Diesel Price Increases 4.4¢ in Third Consecutive Climb

The national average diesel price jumped for the third straight week, this time leaping 4.4 cents to $3.813 per gallon, according to data released July 1.
A gallon of diesel now costs 4.6 cents more on average than it did at this time in 2023.
The average price of diesel rose in all 10 regions of EIA’s , the highest being a 6.7-cent increase in the Midwest and the lowest being a bump of two-tenths of a cent in California.
